Welcome to L.Y.F.E. Mentors, a new program under the DC Center in Washington, DC!

On Wednesday, March 21st from 1-3PM, LYFE Mentors, a growing new organization housed under the DC Center, is hosting a luncheon in the DC Center’s main room (1318 U ST NW). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the new mentoring program for LGBTQ youth and recruit new stakeholders in the effort. LYFE Mentors is currently being built from the ground up and is in need of fresh ideas and volunteers.

LYFE Mentors is aiming to kick-start the program later this summer. In order for the program to be a success, we need your help! The Luncheon will be facilitated by myself, Stephanie Stines from C2P at Children’s National Medical Center, and Brooke Taylor, a former intern at the DC Center.

Please RSVP to Spencer Olson (solson@metroteenaids.org) so we know how much food to order. If you know anyone who may be interested in getting involved in building an LGBTQ youth mentoring program, please forward them this share this information with them!
